Funded Training Opportunities for 2012

Learning Options is currently preparing our funding proposals for 2012 under the Productivity Places Program (PPP). The program is a joint Commonwealth and ACT Government initiative that provides subsidised training opportunities to jobseekers and existing workers.

Our proposals include courses such as Diploma of Business, Diploma of Management, Advanced Diploma of Management, Project Management, Government, Training & Assessment courses and more.

Karen Nicholas, WINNER Commonwealth Bank Business Owner Award
ACT Telstra Business Women's Awards 2011

Karen Nicholas, Learning Options Director was named yesterday as the winner of the Commonwealth Bank Business Owner award at the Telstra ACT Business Women’s Awards.

The Telstra Business Women's Awards celebrate the achievements of truly remarkable women, and past winners include some of Australia's most talented business leaders, whose career paths and individual achievements continue to inspire business people around the country.  This is the second Telstra Business award for Learning Options and follows our win as the ACT Telstra Micro Business of the Year.

The ACT winners proceed to the national finals of the Telstra Business Women’s Awards which will be announced in Melbourne on 18 November.

FINALIST Small Registered Training Organisation of the Year 2011
Learning Options was advised this week that we are a finalist in the ACT Training Excellence Awards, in the ACT Small Registered Training Organisation of the Year category.

The Small Training Organisation Award is presented to a Registered Training Organisation that demonstrate outstanding achievements in all aspects of the delivery of vocational education and training. We need to demonstrate leading practice in vocational education & training, partnerships and links, business strategy, client and market focus, and human resource capability.

Learning Options is very proud to be named a finalist and we are looking forward to the awards dinner on 8 September 2011.

WINNER Micro-Business 2011
Learning Options was last night recognised as the ACT Micro-Business of the Year.

The Telstra Business Awards celebrate the aspirations and successes of Australia’s myriad small-to-medium businesses.

Now in its 19th year, the Telstra Business Awards is Australia’s pre-eminent business awards program, comprising a series of State and Territory finals and culminating in a national final which aims to catapult entrants to even greater success.

We are very proud and excited to represent the ACT at the National Finals on 26 August 2011.

Telstra Business Awards
